  4. How to De-LZH/De-ARC STatus Disk Magazine:
  5.  
  6. 1) Well, actually, you've already done that!  But here's a few tips...
  7. 2) You probably see ARTICLES.ARC, FONTS.ARC, GRAPHICS.ARC, and
  8.    PROGRAMS.ARC at this point.  De-ARC/LZH each of them to a folder with
  9.    the corresponding name in the same path as STATUS.PRG.
  10.  
  11.    For non-programmers <grin> this means you should de-ARC/LZH the file
  12.    ARTICLES.ARC to a folder named ARTICLES, FONTS.ARC into a folder named
  13.    FONTS, GRAPHICS.ARC into a folder named GRAPHICS, and PROGRAMS.ARC into
  14.    A folder named PROGRAMS (simple, eh?).  Your directory should look like
  15.    this:

  18.     FONTS        <dir>
  19.     GRAPHICS    <dir>
  20.     PROGRAMS    <dir>
  21.     STATUS.PRG

  25. Remember, this is a demo of what STatus #1 was like.  We decided to do this 
  26. solely because we felt that STatus was not given enough notice in the media 
  27. after our debut at WAACE AtariFest '89 (kudos to Ralph Mariano at ST-Report and 
  28. Bill and Pattie Rayl at A.I.M. for mentioning us in their magazines!).  This
  29. has caused us a bit of worry since we want STatus to succeed.

  31. Of note to ST-Log/Analog subscribers:  with the dissolution of ST-Log, we feel 
  32. that many Atari owners may wish to continue on with another publication.  We at 
  33. STatus feel that we need to grow, and we'd like for you to give us a try.  All 
  34. you need to do is clip the subscription sticker off the cover of an 
  35. ST-Log/Analog that confirms you are a subscriber whose subscription ends no 
  36. earlier than October, 1989.  Send us $5.00 and get the December issue of 
  37. STatus, or send $15 and get the next three (3) issues of STatus.  This saves 
  38. you about 33% off regular price of $7.50 per issue.
